Veronica Lupu

is a Legal Expert  and founder of the NGO Women for the Contemporary Society who has worked on more than 60 trials assisting victims and has achieved many significant jury verdicts and settlements. This experience has taught her that justice in cases of trafficking in persons is hard-won. Her caseload ranges from complex disputes with law enforcement bodies of how to identify and repatriate Moldovan women trafficking victims from dangerous locations and distant destination countries, to courtroom trials against traffickers who have recruited, transported and exploited women trafficking victims.

Ruslana Grosu

Ruslana Grosu is a Ph.D. student at the Department of History and Theory of International Relations and Global Development, Institute of History, State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Ms. Grosu holds a Master’s Degree in International Law from the University of European Studies, Institute of International Relations, Chisinau, Moldova.
