The Academy „Ștefan cel Mare” of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Republic of Moldova and the Association Women for the Contemporary Society, Moldova signed today, 24th June 2020, in Chisinau a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing the collaboration framework for joint activities enhancing the educational process of the police officers and supporting capacity building of the law enforcement agencies in the prevention and combating discrimination and domestic violence. To that end, the two parties decided to join the efforts and resources to enhance the relevant training curricula and other instruments for building capacities of the staff of the Police, conducting studies and research, organizing events of academic and scientific nature, exchanging data and information in areas of common interest related to prevent and combat crimes against women.
